Hero comes from our last name Held which means Hero in German and it is fitting for who we are and strive to be. Our experiences in the outdoors has shown that we can all use a helping hand during a tough climb, route or excursion. We learned the same thing working in the outdoor industry. Not everyone needs or can afford a full-time marketing person; sales analyst; public relations specialist; videographer; sustainability manager or sherpa. Hero is there when you need us whether it is product video or photos, trade show or event set-up, sales meeting presentations, making your business more green, or tweeting when you simply don’t have time. Hero will complete every task true to your companies values and give you the time to do what you do best.
Wendi
As a longtime buyer at Macy’s and The Sports Authority Wendi became an expert at retail math. She understands the numbers and will dig deep to determine the how, when and why they came to be. With a unique career path, she crossed over from buying to be an independent rep, sales manager, sales analyst and product line manager. Meanwhile she also became a certified ski/snowboard instructor, backpacking guide, triathlete, marathoner and a social media junky. Multi-tasking may be her specialty! Efficiency, passion, determination and experience make Wendi a TrueHero.
Andy
Andy is the artist and creative master-mind at TrueHero. Formerly the President of Tough Guy Productions he has produced, filmed, directed and edited several ski and cycling movies and executed many events, races and trade shows. Most recently he wrote and produced a full HD eco action television pilot. Speaking of action, Andy has been a Full Certified ski instructor for over 18 years, an avid climber, mountain biker, trail runner and outdoorsman. A carpenter for over 25 years and master craftsman he has a great attention for detail. With a Certificate in Green Building, Andy is focused on minimal impact and energy consumption and is our sustainability expert. He can bring your home or business into the 21st century.
